If you need help starting an exercise program, want to maximize your current workouts, or are looking to stay motivated, our trainers will consider your fitness level and health history to create a personalized fitness program that will teach you proper techniques, help you avoid injury and provide the right amount of coaching support so you achieve your goals.
Group X
Atlas Fitness offers a balanced range of bootcamp-style classes to improve your overall physical fitness and athleticism. Classes are designed by our professional trainers and geared toward enhancing your speed, agility, strength and cardiovascular endurance. All exercises are designed to allow each participant to workout at her or his own pace, making the classes a great option for beginners and seasoned Atlas Athletes alike. Additionally, when an individual participates in the entire Group X sequence each week, their routine will cover all five components of fitness: muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular strength, flexibility and body composition.
Nutritional Coaching & Meal Planning
Without proper nutrition, you will never maximize the benefits of a great fitness program. Nutritional coaching is a service that provides clients with an hour of one on one nutrition counseling with a Specialist in Fitness Nutrition. The session will be geared towards your goals, concerns and nutritional questions and needs. Your session can include, but is not limited to any or all of the following:
- Discussion of current health status and any issues you are facing involving food, dieting, weight loss or gain desires, meal planning, illness recovery, preventative measures, pre or post pregnancy issues, sports nutrition, aging nutrition, etc
- Review of food logs to help clients make positive changes to their diets
- Understanding macronutrients and their role: Carbohydrates, Fats, Protein
- Management planning for eating right that pertains to your individual life and schedule: helping you find a plan that works for YOU and YOUR life, as opposed to a “one size fits all” diet
- Supplement and Vitamins
- Meal planning for your lifestyle and schedule
- Recipe ideas and how to make your favorite meals healthier
- Understanding labels: what do labels mean, how to understand the calculations of fats, carbohydrates and proteins, what ingredients should be avoided and why
- Food Allergy Management: going gluten, dairy or soy free and what this means for you
- Advertising and marketing vs. Nutritional Information- what is actual information and what is advertising claims
- Changing dietary needs through the ages
- How to get through the holidays or vacations without gaining weight
